Vehicle Reservation Terms

The reservation deposit shown during checkout creates a temporary exclusive hold on an available vehicle while you prepare funds and configure the remaining ACH payment through Stripe. It is not a waitlist, queue, or first-in-line reservation behind another buyer.

Unless checkout displays a different configured period, the exclusive hold lasts 72 hours from payment of the reservation deposit. You should configure the remaining full payment by ACH through Stripe before that deadline. The reservation deposit is applied to the purchase total if the transaction is completed.

If full payment is not configured before the deadline, your checkout is not automatically cancelled. You may continue while the vehicle remains available, but the exclusive hold ends, other shoppers may start checkout, and another shopper may complete the purchase first. ACar does not guarantee that the vehicle will remain available after the hold ends.

You may cancel the checkout reservation. The reservation deposit will be refunded to the original payment method, typically within 3–5 business days. If you complete the purchase, the deposit is applied to the purchase total.
